Who We Are
BEAM is a support group for Mothers whose children have been adopted, are in care or live elsewhere.
We care passionately about what has happened to you.
You are not alone
What We Do
We meet every Monday in Ipswich from 9:30am to 11am. There is no judgement. It is confidential, caring and it’s free.
How We Do It
BEAM is a place where you can really be listened to and understood. We have times of sharing, learning, laughter and tears. Every mother here understands like no one else ever could.
Why We Do It
We do it because you will always be a mother. We want to see women discover their worth and value, regardless of what has happened to them.
If you have given birth to a child you will be that child’s mother for the rest of their life. We want to support you in the loss and pain you are experiencing – whether your child was taken recently or many years ago.
This might be by forced adoption or agreement. You do not have to live with this unbearable pain alone. BEAM is here to help you work through the emotions you are feeling with others who truly understand.
